Rhododendrons are evergreen shrubs which can grow up to 5m in height. There are many different varieties. They have large, oblong, smooth leathery leaves. The flowers are trumpet-shaped 40mm to 60mm long and can be a variety of colours. They form in large terminal clusters of 8 to 15 flowers. Many are spotted on the inside .
