Description: Laburnum is a flowering tree which can grow to 7m in height. During May to June it is covered in numerous pendulous pea like yellow flowers each about 2cm long. The tree develops sooth dark brow pods (4cm - 6cm long). They remain on the tree after splitting open to expose the seeds. of early summer produce the pods and pea-like fruit |
