Description: Erect, perennial herb with deep dull green broad and strap-like leaves. The flowers are bell shaped and greenish yellow, with darker edges. The flowers, which are 10mm - 30mm in size are produced in large clusters in spring (January - May). They produce fruit in the form of a capsule following flowering. Hellebores can be found woodland, scrub, and rocky hillsides. |
