Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre Wins Two Top Tourism Awards

cotebrook shire horse centreOne of Cheshire's fastest growing visitor attractions - the Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre, near Tarporley has just won two prestigious awards in a competition organized by Visit Chester & Cheshire Tourism Organisation.

During the awards ceremony which was held at the Grand Marquee, Tatton Park and hosted by TV Chef Simon Rimmer, more than 450 guests looked on as the Center received the coveted Team of the Year award, while Alistair and Janet King the Centre's owners were recognized for their "Exceptional Individual Contribution to the Visitor Economy" of the Chester area.

Alistair King said was delighted with the Individual Contribution Award and paid tribute to the Centres staff saying, "Each member of our team has a vital role to play in the success of Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre. Not only do they give individual commitment but have a positive approach in working together to guarantee our visitors have an experience to remember for a long time."

Janet King added, "This award is for the individual, who in the judge's opinion stands out from all nominations in all categories. Alistair and I feel deeply honoured to win this coveted award and are very proud to have our hard work recognized,"

Now in their eighth year, the awards provide a unique opportunity for employers to acknowledge the ongoing efforts of their teams, and nominate their top achievers. They celebrate the hard work and commitment of all those involved in the sector and address the skills shortage in the tourism industry.
